To provide comprehensive resources and support for the research, teaching, and learning needs of the institute community.

Mission

To build collections by networking with leading libraries for providing relevant information and create tools to support research, teaching, and learning. To facilitate seamless access to robust and distinctive collections for stakeholders and ensure preservation and long-lasting availability of library resources.

Our college library, recognized as the “Centre for Knowledge of Information,” stands as a vital academic hub located on the first floor of the R.K. Venkatraman Block. The library offers a peaceful and well-maintained environment, equipped with modern wooden carrel reading tables, individual lighting, comfortable seating, and organized display racks for journals and new arrivals. With a fully computerized system powered by the “E-CAP” library management software, all transactions are swift and accurate. The library houses a rich collection of over 11,659 documents; including textbooks, 348 CD-ROMs, and 523 back volumes of journals. It also supports GPAT aspirants with additional resources and operates a Book Bank scheme. The Digital Knowledge Centre features 10 internet-enabled computers with printing and Xerox facilities, supporting both academic and research needs. The library is a proud member of NDLI Club In addition, the library subscribes to DELNET, and the i Thenticate (Turnitin) plagiarism detection software, ensuring quality and originality in academic work. We also maintain a significant collection of research documents including 12 Ph.D. theses, 249 M.Pharm dissertations, and 304 B.Pharm dissertations. The college actively celebrates National Library Week from November 14th to 20th every year, promoting reading habits and awareness among students and faculty.
